Introduction: The U.S. Constitution, the foundation of the United States government starts with the simple dustup We, the people. But for the majority of the nations history, those people were only male. Visualize a sentence when girls were warned math classes were too tight and going to college was just a waste of time. When the popular thinking was that girls shouldnt even play sports at all, only wear dresses and act like ladies. Just a generation ago that wasnt a thought it was reality. Females were considered property, property of their fathers or their husbands, not individuals with individual rights for many years after the States was founded. The problem I would like to address is sexism against females in sportswoman and the work place. The reason I chose the work place and summercater is because they are two places where women will always be disregardless if sexism is occurring or not. If women are going to be there they deserve equal opportunities as men. The opportunity for women to have a sporting shake in athletics and receive equal discourse as men has been a never-ending battle.

Sexism is a gigantic problem our nation faces because women should not be held back from excelling in things they love due to their gender, it is not something they are in ascendancy of. This is an issue that needs to be brought to the attention of the Federal presidential term because they have the power to enact a simple rightfulness that would have the potential to eventually end sexism. Everyday women crosswise the country are discriminated against just because of their gender. Every time someone sees a female cop they gawk at her as if its a shocker a woman is a cop.
